TROUBLE-SHOOTING
CHECKING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE COMPONENTS
For the trouble-shooting procedure, the modular wiring connector fitted to the base of the appliance can be
used (after removing the connector from the socket) to measure the resistance and thus the efficiency of the
various components fitted to the appliance. To do this, a standard tester is used.
A VERIFICATION PROCEDURE has been created in order to identify the component to be tested; the test
points to which the tester probes should be applied for each component are described below, together with
the correct resistance values.

TEST CORRECT VALUE TEST
POINTS (OHMS) POINTS
DRAIN MOTOR 1 - 8 70 ±7% 1 - 8 DRAIN MOTOR
WASH MOTOR 3 - 8 48 ±7% 3 - 8 WASH MOTOR
REGENERATION SOLENOID 4 - 7 2450 ±8% 4 - 7 REGENERATION SOLENOID
FILL SOLENOID + ANTI-FLOOD 5 - 9 3800 ±8% 5 - 8 FILL SOLENOID + ANTI-FLOOD
RESET SOLENOID 6 - 7 4850 ±8% 6 - 7 RESET SOLENOID
N.B. If the resistance across contacts
1 - 8
and
3 - 8
is the same (28 ohm approx.), this means that the
capacitor is short-circuited.
