STEAM VENTING
The steam venting chamber is connected directly to the tub, and performs several functions:
- During the water fill cycles, it transfers to the tub any water that is dispersed as it passes through the air
break, as well as any excess water from the regeneration tank when this is full, and a small quantity of
water which overflows from the volumetric flow switch.
- It equalizes the pressure inside and outside the tub during the washing programme even if the door is
opened or closed, thus preventing any possible deformation of the tub, or resetting of the pressure switch
to the empty condition, or interruptions of the cycle etc.
- It improves the drying results by allowing the steam to condense on the internal surface of the steam
venting chamber.
