9.3.1 Generating STEAM
In SERIES 8 and 9 certain programmes can be configured to generate steam, which is used to refresh the
laundry or to remove some creases and make ironing easier.
To obtain steam, during these programmes, the quantity of water filled in the tub must be enough to cover the
heating element and the maximum temperature to reach is 60°C/75°C.
During the water filling and the movement of the drum, the laundry must not get wet.
