1 Enphase IQ8 Commercial PV System
This design guide provides guidelines for designing three-phase commercial PV systems using
Enphase IQ8 Commercial Microinverters. The high-powered, smart, grid-ready Enphase IQ8
Commercial Microinverter is the most reliable and intelligent component of the Enphase small
commercial PV solution for 208 V three-phase interconnection.
Each microinverter supports one series-connected PV module and integrates with the Enphase IQ
Gateway Commercial 2 and the Enphase Installer Portal web-based monitoring and management
software. The Enphase IQ8 Commercial Microinverter simplifies design, improves energy harvest with
higher uptime, and offers trouble-free operation and maintenance.
This design guide introduces solar installation professionals to the IQ8 Commercial system
components, provides guidance on component selection, and provides guidelines for IQ8
Commercial system design and installation scenarios.
The Enphase Commercial IQ8 Commercial Microinverter system includes the following system
components:

This guide describes the safe installation and operation of the IQ8 Commercial Series Microinverters.
