Module compatibility calculator estimates compatibility based on information provided by the
installer on the following parameters. The installer should confirm the following details with the
PV module manufacturer.
• Voc (voltage at open circuit).
• Vmp (voltage at maximum power).
• Imp (current at maximum power)
• Temperature coefficient of Voc, Isc.
• Isc (short-circuit current).
• Expected daytime operating temperature range.

To ensure mechanical compatibility, order the correct connector type for both the microinverter
and PV module from your distributor.
2.1.2 Enphase Frame Mount bracket
The Enphase Frame Mount bracket allows you to attach an IQ8 Commercial Microinverter easily
and rapidly to the PV module frame. Use the Frame Mount bracket in rail-less or ballasted solar
installations. The Enphase Frame Mount bracket comes in two sizes, 35 mm (EFM-35MM) and
40 mm (EFM-40MM), depending upon the thickness (depth) of the PV module frame.
2.1.3 DC connector intermatability
IQ8 Commercial Microinverter has an Enphase EN4 bulkhead for DC connection and bulkhead
adapter cable for EN4 to Staubli MC4 connection. If your PV modules have TE PV4S SOLARLOK
connectors, you may plug them directly into the IQ8 Commercial Microinverter with EN4 bulkhead.

For the EN4 to Staubli MC4 connection, DC adapter cables (Part number: ECA-EN4-S22) of length
150 mm (5.91 in) are provided by default with IQ8 Commercial Microinverter. For installations where
DC cables from the PV modules are unable to reach the IQ8 Commercial Microinverter, installers can
order longer EN4 to Staubli MC4 adapter cables.
