5.2.a.1 Linear Program Setup
5.2.b WHO Step Program V 9.3 (9.3)
This program increases loads in accordance with the WHO load increment table for
stress analysis. This table contains the following values:
load change 5 Watts >>> load increase every 1 minute
load change 10 Watts >>> load increase every 1 minute
load change 25 Watts >>> load increase every 2 minutes
load change 50 Watts >>> load increase every 3 minutes
This means that the time that a particular load step is run is dependent upon the load
change in accordance with the above mentioned values.
Pulse-steady-state programs follow an algorithm so that load changes occur only to
the point at which the pre-set pulse rate is reached. Once the exercise pulse rate is
reached, the ergometer automatically changes the load to maintain that pulse rate.
To review the current setting, press both „+/-5 WATT“
keys simultaneously. The leftmost display will show either
„3.3“ or „9.3“ to reflect the current mode. The current
mode setting cannot be changed by this action.
Press both „+/-25 WATT“ keys simultaneously. The
leftmost display will show either „3.3“ or „9.3". Continue to
press these keys until „3.3“ appears in the display.
