• A SLSM 3x camera has 3 SDI Outs that have to be connected with 3 SDI In connectors of the
Xeebraserver. A maximum of two SLSM 3x cameras can be connected.
• A SLSM4x camera has 4 SDI Outs that have to be connected with 4 SDI In connectors of the Xeebra
server. A maximum of two SLSM 4x cameras can be connected.
4.3.SecuringtheSDICables
It is essential to maintain the cable connections horizontal to the server, to avoid one or more of
the SDI connections failing owing to the weight of the SDI cables, which might also cause the
video card to shift inside the server chassis.
We therefore recommend to let the cables rest on one of the following support types:
• a cable lacing bar attached at the back of the rack
• a ring bracket attached to the side of the rack or flight case
