Flash control
mode
The fl ash control mode selected with the fl ash
unit. This can in some cases be adjusted from the
camera; the options available vary with the fl ash.
•
TTL: TTL mode. Adjust fl ash compensation (

).
•
M: The fl ash fi res at the selected output regard-
less of subject brightness or camera settings.
Output in some cases can be adjusted from the
camera (

).
•
MULTI: Repeating fl ash. Compatible shoe-mount-
ed fl ash units will fi re multiple times with each
shot.
•
OFF: The fl ash does not fi re. Some fl ash units can
be turned off from the camera.
