Blade Settings
The parameters of the cleaving blade can be set.
The blade motion during the cleave is shown below.

Blade Settings
Blade Speed
Sets the speed of cleaving blade during oscillation.
Blade Forward Steps
Sets the cleaving blade forward distance.
This parameter cannot be set smaller than “Blade Reverse
Steps.”
Blade Reverse Steps
Sets the cleaving blade reverse distance.
This parameter cannot be set larger than “Blade Forward
Steps”.
Blade Approach Steps
Shows the value: Blade Forward Steps – Blade Reverse Steps

arget Cleave Count
Sets the blade oscillation count until the fiber should be
cleaved.
Cleave Oscillation Limit
Sets a limit on the number of times the blade may oscillate.

leave Blade Start
Position Auto Adjust
If set to “ON”, the cleave count will be adjusted to the “Target
Cleave Count
” with each oscillation.
If set to “OFF,” the cleaver does not adjust the cleave count.
