When using your device the rst time,
you should complete the following
tasks to set up the device and get to
know the basic features.
1. Install the battery (page 3).
2. Charge the battery (page 4).
3. Install the VHF antenna (page 4).
4. Acquire satellite signals (page 5).
5. Select a channel (page 6).
6. Calibrate the compass (page 15).
7. Register the device (page 1).
