1. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the battery cover in place 1 .
2. Lift off the cover 2 .
3. Remove the batteries 3 .
4. Insert the new batteries, paying attention to the polarity 4 .
5. Replace the cover and the attachment screw 5 .
