Purge Box
Replace High Power Temperature Control
Module (HPTCM, ref. 1535)
1. Turn system main power switch OFF.
2. Open purge box.
3. Unplug all connections on the HPTCM (1535).
4. Remove screws (1537) and washers (1536, 1537)
securing HPTCM then remove HPTCM.
5. Install HPTCM (1535) and reattach HPTCM connec
tions. See Electrical Schematics, page 31.
6. Close purge box.
Replace Fluid Control Module Cube (FCM3,
ref.1547)
1. Turn system main power switch OFF.
2. Open the purge box and remove the purge control
ler (not shown) to access the FCM mounting
screws. For removal instructions, see Replace
Purge Controller, page 19.
3. Unplug all connections on the FCM3.
4. Loosen two screws securing FCM3 then remove
FCM3.
5. Use screws to install FCM3.
6. Reattach FCM3 connections.
7. Reinstall purge controller. See Replace Purge
Controller, page 19.
8. Close purge box.
Center ground screw in the Fluid Control Module
Cube must be used to avoid serious injury due to
electric shock.
