PARENTAL CONTROL

Broadcast Ratings
Use ratings to restrict antenna broadcast TV
programmes accessed directly from the Fire
TV user menu (such as Programme Guide or
ON NOW line). Use third party applications
to manage content settings accessed on these
applications.
1 Under the »PARENTAL CONTROLS« menu,
press »

« to select »Broadcast
Ratings« and press »
« to confirm.
– »BROADCAST RATINGS« menu will be
displayed.
2 Press »

« to select access level
and confirm with »
«.
– The access level you selected will be
marked with »

3 Press »
« to return to the previous menu or
press »
« to return to »Home« menu.
PIN protect app launches
The PIN you previously determined must be
entered before launching apps and games.
These settings do not apply to certain content
accessed directly through the Fire TV user
interface (such as the Programme Guide).
1 Under the »PARENTAL CONTROLS« menu,
press »

« to select »PIN Protect
App Launches« and press »
« to set it to
»ON«.
Note:

To disable PIN Protect App Launches, press

PIN protect Amazon photo app
The PIN you previously determined must be
entered before launching Amazon Photos.
When the PIN Protect App Launches function
is set to »ON«, these settings are not taken into
account.
1 Under the »PARENTAL CONTROLS« menu,

« to select »PIN Protect
Amazon Photo App« and press »
« to set
it to »ON«.

Changing the PIN code
1 Under the »PARENTAL CONTROLS« menu,

« to select »Change PIN«
and press »
« to confirm.
2 Enter the current PIN.
3 Enter the new PIN.
4 Re-enter the new PIN to confirm.
– »Saving PIN« message will be displayed
and the PIN will change.
5 Press »
« to return to the previous menu or
press »
« to return to »Home« menu.
