THROTTLE LINKAGE

HANDLE TYPE
1)
Remove the engine cover.
2)
Turn the throttle grip
to
the full open position, and check
that the throttle lever is in contact with the stopper.
If
it is
not, adjust as
follows.
3) Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjusting nut.
4)
After adjustment, tighten the lock nut securely.
TORQUE:

Operate the throttle grip several times, then turn the throt-
tle grip from fully closed position to fully open position
and check that the throttle lever is in contact with the
stopper with full open position, and contact to the throttle
stop screw with full closed position.

Remove the engine cover an right engine under cover

Move the control lever to the full open position, and check
that the throttle arm stopper boss is in contact with the full
open stopper. At this time, the throttle lever should con-
tact
to
the stopper.
