AIR FILTER CHECK
1. Unsnap the air cleaner cover clips and open the air cleaner cover.
2. Free the hooks from the setting pins on the air cleaner case and remove the
air cleaner cover to the right side of the frame pipe, taking care not to
damage the air cleaner cover.
3. Remove the air cleaner element from the air cleaner case.
4. Check the air cleaner element to be sure it is clean and in good condition.
If the air cleaner element is dirty, clean it as described on page 67. Replace the
air cleaner element if it is damaged.
5. Reinstall the air cleaner element in the air cleaner case.
