NOTE:
Make sure the ignition is ON
• Do not turn the MVCI off.
• Do not disconnect the MVCI from the vehicle’s DLC.
12. If an error occurs during updating, leave the ignition ON, and go to Troubleshooting (Updating Errors). Press
ENTER to display the error code.
13. When the update is done, the MVCI beeps, and prompts you to turn the ignition switch to OFF
14. Turn the ignition back ON within 60 seconds to complete the updating process. The MVCI displays a
countdown timer that goes away after you turn the ignition ON.
NOTE: If you do not cycle the ignition switch, an error code sets.
15. When the update is done, the MVCI gives you the option to repeat this system update on another vehicle.
Press Enter to repeat the same system update on another vehicle, or press ESC to exit. See Updating with the
Repeated Mode for more information.
16. Make sure there are no fault indicators displayed.
