NOTE: The remaining cables, major components, and accessories are connected depending
on the particular application or aircraft being tested. Refer to the User’s Guide for your
aircraft model for specific installation instructions.
2.1.3 Disk Installation (Figure 2-1)
a. Hold disk with arrow facing up and pointing in as shown.
b. Insert disk completely into disk drive until drive button pops out.
NOTE: To remove a disk, push drive button in.

2.1.4 Printer Paper Removal (Figure 2-2)
a. Tear off any excess paper.
b. Clear paper from paper path by turning advance gear forward to back out paper as shown.
Or if advance gear has no effect, pull paper out of paper path.
c. Push on paper release lever and remove roll.
2.1.5 Printer Paper Loading (Figure 2-3)
a. Trim any ragged edges on paper roll.
b. Tightly rewind roll and place in holder.
c. Feed paper into printer using advance gear as shown (or paper advance button if power is
applied).
