3.2 Mounting the Cabinet
3.2.1 About the Cabinet
The MPI cabinet is suitable for housing an MPI Control Panel or a Remote
Power Supply, andcomes with a built-in AC power adapter and a door tamper
switch. Furthermore, the cabinet can house up to two backup batteries (18Ah
max. capacity). The cabinet can contain:
l An MPI Control Panel + optionally:
o
one additional device on top of the main boardholder: either a Zone
Expander or a Relay Module.
o
an LTE module.
l An MPI Remote Power Supply (RPS) + optionally:
o
up to two additional devices; one to the right of the RPS and one on top
of the RPS holder.
Suitable devices are: Door Control Modules, Zone Expanders, and Relay
Modules.

The image below shows a cabinet with a ControlPanel (B), a Zone Expander
(A) on top, and the 4G/LTE Module (C) on the right-hand side.
