The Z Axis output IIlgnal lntenslflell the trace when the Sweep Frequency Is equal to
the Marker Frequency.
Seta the 3314A to its basic operating state. ThIs operating state III very useful 811
the common starting point fOf an operations . Note that FREE RUN Is tha active mode
after instrument pc-eset.
Thla parameter seta the sweep time Interval axactfy all it was Implemented In Unear
SWHP except that the time fa now the time per decade. The lower limit is
40.Omsldecade.
Note that the Stop Frequency sets the number of decades swept. The mantlsla of
the Stop Frequency trackll the Stert Frequency.

Frequency to the Stop Frequency In the time Interval eet by SWITA INTVL.
Setting the Start Frequency elso lists the mantissa of the Stop Frequency (Log
sweeps must be decade sweepsl. When the Start Frequency fa changed, the Stop
Frequency automatIcally tracka these changes. Note that the lower Stert Frequency
limit III .2ooHz.
HOW TO USE THE FREE RUN MODE
(LOG SWEEPS)
Stop Frequency must be greater than the Start Frequency.
Sweeps are decedes , only . 1 decade to 7 decades.
Start Frequency range: .200Hz to 1.999MHz .
Stop Frequency range: 2Hz to 19.99MHz.
Sweep Interval range: 40 .Oma to 19998 per decade.
