AM Inpllt Chancteristics. The AM input has these operating characteristics (all values
are approximate):
The
3314A's output signal (the carrier) can be amplitude modulated to > 100%.
The sense of the AM input, along with the carrier, is inverted when Invert Func-
tion is asserted.
The
3314A modulation capabilities include Amplitude Modulation (AM), Amplitude
Modulation Suppressed Carrier (AMSC) and Frequency Modulation (FM). The
3314A can also be used as a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO). All of these
operations require an external modulating signal.
