• Extend the chassis from the rack.
• Remove the chassis from the rack.
6. Remove the access panel.
7. Remove all fans.

Grip both sides of the fan cage, and then lift the cage from the chassis.
9. Disconnect the following cables from the fan board:
a. Front I/O cables
b.
Drive backplane power cables
10. Disconnect the front I/O cables from the fan board.
11. Remove the fan board:
a. Loosen the fan board thumbscrews (callout 1).
b. Slide the fan board towards the drive backplane, and then lift the board from the chassis (callout 2).
