• (1)Perform the following using Storage Management Software.

1. 1) Confirm that the user account and password that you input are correct.
2. 2) Confirm that Storage Administrator (View and Modify) authority is assigned to a user
account, and assign it if not.
3. 3) When operating restore with cascade pair connection, restore cannot be operated
for L2 pair. Make a pair status of L1 SMPL.
4. 4) A pair status for restore is not PSUS, restore cannot be operated. Make a pair status
PSUS.
5. 5) When operating restore with cascade pairs, if a pair status other than a pair for restore
is not PSUS, restore cannot be operated. Make a pair status other than a pair for restore
PSUS.

In the case of the HA configuration, if the HA pair status to be restored is not PSUS, restore
operation cannot be performed. Change the HA pair status to PSUS using the storage
management software.
• (2)An error occurred when an operation command was given to a disk array system, See
“About errors attributable to disk array systems” (page 133).
