5. Install the electrode protection cover of the DC PSU. See (2) in Figure 3-50.
6. Connect the other end of the power cable to the PDU according to the power cable
connection guidelines.
Step 4 Lay out and bind power cables.
The Ethernet signal cables connecting cabinets do not support electromagnetic shielding
(EMS). According to EMC requirements, the distance between the power cables and signal
cables must be at least 100 mm (3.94 in.).
1. Lay out the power cables neatly along the cable organizers, bind the power cables using
cable ties, and use diagonal pliers to trim off the excess ends of cable ties so that there
are no rough edges.

2. Remove the cut-off ends of the cable ties from the cabinet.
