8.9 Installing an RRU power cable
This section describes the procedure for installing an RRU power cable.
Prerequisites
l OT terminals are added to the RRU power cable on the RRU side. For details, see 11.1
Adding OT Terminals to the RRU Power Cable on the RRU Side.
l A connector or OT terminals are added to the RRU power cable on the power device side.

Context
There are two types of RRU power cables in terms of cross-sectional areas: 3.3 mm

) (12 AWG) complying with North American standards and 4 mm

) complying with
European standards.
Procedure
l Install an RRU power cable that feeds power to an RRU from a DCDU when the DCDU
is configured.
1. Connect the OT terminals of the blue and black/brown core wires at one end of the
RRU power cable to the NEG(-) and RTN(+) wiring terminals on the RRU cabling
cavity respectively, as shown in Figure 8-17.
