3 Installation
3.1 Preparations
● A circuit breaker needs to be installed in the upstream of the UPS to facilitate
maintenance.
● The UPS can generate large leakage currents. A circuit breaker equipped with a
residual current device (RCD) is not recommended. If leakage protection is
required, select a recommended circuit breaker.
● The leakage current of the 6 kVA UPS is less than or equal to 100 mA. The
leakage current of the 10 kVA UPS is less than or equal to 200 mA. The leakage
current of the 15 kVA/20 kVA UPS is less than or equal to 500 mA.
● When UPSs are connected in parallel, the output parallel power cables of each
UPS must be at least 1 m long and the length deviation must be less than
±10%. The four cables must be connected at the remote end.
● It is recommended that the length of battery cables and output cables be less
than or equal to 10 m.
● You can install linked circuit breakers for both the N wire and L wire. No
independent circuit breaker is allowed for only the N wire.
● If the AC input and output of the 10 kVA/15 kVA/20 kVA UPS use dual live
wires, the PDC-0038V4ACIOA, PDC-0091V2ACIOA, and PDC-0038V4ACIOA-V2
cannot be used.
It is recommended that the length of the cable connected to the MBS port be
less than or equal to 10 m.

Floor Bearing
The oor can bear the weight of the UPS and its optional components. In the case
of rack installation, ensure that the oor can also bear the weight of the rack.
