For the cigarette lighter to work, the key must
be in the "ACC" position or the "ON" position.
To use the cigarette lighter, push it all the way
into its socket. When the element has heated,
the lighter will pop out to the "ready" position.
Do not hold the cigarette lighter pressed in. This
can damage the heating element and create a
fire hazard.
If it is necessary to replace the cigarette lighter,
use only a genuine Hyundai replacement or its
approved equivalent.

The front ashtray may be opened by pushing
and releasing the ashtray at its top edge.
To clean the ashtray, the metal ash receptacle
should be removed. Push the metal ash recep-
tacle down and forward in the ashtray, and it
can then be lifted out. To reinstall it, place it in
the proper position and press it down and
forward to engage the ash receptacle rear lip in
the ashtray. The ashtray light will only illuminate
when the exterior vehicle lights are switched
on.

The rear ashtray may be opened by pulling it
out by its top edge. To remove the ashtray to
empty or clean it, lift it up slightly and pull it all
the way out.

DRINK HOLDER (If installed)

The drink holder is located on the main console
for holding cups or cans. The drink holder can
be opened by pulling at its top edge.
CAUTION:
Place the drink holder in its closed position
while not in use.
WARNING:
Do not place objects other than cups or
cans in the drink holder. Such objects can
be thrown out in the event of a sudden stop
or an accident, possibly injuring the pas-
sengers in the vehicle.
