a. Power off the system.
b. Exchange the SPCN card in the failing frame (see symbolic FRU “TWRCARD” on page 470).

7. Is the SRC 1xxx 8430?
v Yes: The configuration is incorrect. Correct the configuration.
This ends the procedure.
v No: Continue with the next step.
8. Is the SRC 1xxx 8440?
v No: Go to step 10 (See page 349).
v Yes: Continue with the next step.
9. Perform the following:
a. Power off the system.
b. Connect the V/S COMM cable correctly. If the V/S COMM cable is connected correctly and the
SRC prevails, replace the cable. For Models 870 and 890 see Power and signal cables for the
part number.
c. Power on the system.
Does the same SRC appear on the control panel?
v Yes: Go to the next FRU on the list.
v No: Continue with the next step.
10.
Is the SRC 1xxx 8431 or 1xxx 8441?
v No: This ends the procedure.
v Yes: Continue with the next step.
11. Perform the following:
a. Power off the system.
b. Disconnect the V/S COMM cable.
c. Power on the system.
Does the same SRC appear on the control panel?
v Yes: Go to the next FRU on the list.
v No: This ends the procedure.
