If the configuration ID is correct, try to re-IPL the system. If you cannot re-IPL the system and
the SRC persists, perform the following problem isolation procedures (PIPs).
“Power PIP4” on page 153 for Models 800 and 810
“Power PIP5” on page 158 for Model 825
“Power PIP9” on page 172 if the fault is in an FC 5075, FC 5085, FC 5095, or FC 0595 I/O
tower, or an FC 7116 system expansion unit
“Power PIP6” on page 160 for an FC 5074, FC 5079, FC 5094, FC 8093, FC 8094, or FC
9094
“Power PIP8” on page 168 for an FC 5088, or FC 0588
e. If the configuration ID is incorrect, use the following steps to change the configuration ID.
1) Select function 07 on the system control panel. Press Enter (07** will be displayed).
2) Use the arrow keys to increment/decrement to subfunction A9. 07A9 will be displayed. Press
Enter (07A9 00 will be displayed).
3) Use the arrow keys to increment/decrement to the frame address of the box that you want to
change (07nn will be displayed, where nn is the frame address). Press Enter (07nn 00 will
be displayed).
Note: The display on the addressed frame will be blinking on and off (non-system unit
frames only).
4) The correct configuration ID is:
89 for an FC 5088, FC 0588
8A for an FC 5094, FC 5294, or FC 8094-002
8B for an FC 5095, FC 0595
91 for a Model 810 without FC 7116 system expansion unit, without a removable
processor.
92 for a Model 810 without FC 7116 system expansion unit, with a removable processor.
95 for Models 800 and 810 with an FC 7116 expansion unit
96 for Models 800 and 810 with FC 7116 system expansion unit, with a removable
processor.
99 for FC 9094 (Models 870 and 890), FC 8093-001, or 8094-001 system expansion unit

5) Use the arrow keys to increment/decrement to the correct configuration ID (07xx will be
displayed where xx is the configuration ID. Press Enter (07xx 00 will be displayed). After a
few seconds, the display on the addressed no-system unit frame will stop blinking and return
to displaying the frame address. On a system unit, the display will show the series of
bring-up SRCs and then display function 01.
Note: Scroll to 07** and press Enter to return the panel to normal display.
6) Try to re-IPL the system. If you cannot re-IPL the system and the SRC persists, then perform
the following PIPs.
“Power PIP4” on page 153 for Models 800 and 810
“Power PIP5” on page 158 for Model 825
“Power PIP6” on page 160 for an FC 5074, FC 5079, FC 5094, FC 8093, FC 8094 or FC
9094
“Power PIP9” on page 172 if the fault is in an FC 5075, FC 5085, FC 5095, or FC 0595
I/O tower, or an FC 7116 system expansion unit
“Power PIP8” on page 168 for an FC 5078, FC 0578, FC 5088, or FC 0588
