– No: Continue with the next step.
– Yes: Replace the following:
- Models 840/SB3 (non dual-line cord) SPCN card
- Models 840/SB3 (dual-line cord) SPCN card
For location and part number of the SPCN card refer to Locations and addresses.

The failing SPCN card is in a secondary expansion unit or base I/O unit. For FC 5072, 5073, 5077,
5082, 5083, and 9251 base I/O, the SPCN card is part of the ACMODUL. See Type, model, and part
number list for part number information.

2. Refer to the Models 870 and 890 - Bulk power controller remove and replace procedure.

v Before replacing any field replaceable units (FRUs), verify that all cables are seated correctly.
v Ensure that the red switch on the front of the EPO panel is in the ON position and that if there is no
external EPO cable, that the internal toggle switch to the ROOM EPO BYPASS on the bottom of the
EPO panel is set to the left before proceeding.
