Use the following for FC 5095, and FC 0595, and perform “Power PIP9” on page 172 to isolate the
failing item. The failing item may be one of the following parts:
– Any part on the power bus.
– Power supply P01 or P02 (see Type, model, and part number list for part number)

Is the SRC 1xxx 1C01, 1C03, 1C05, 1C06, 1C07 or 1C08?
v No: Continue with the next step.
v Yes: Perform “Power PIP7” on page 166 to isolate the failing item. The failing item may be one of
the following parts:
– Any part on the system bus
– Power supply PP1, or PP2 (see Type, model, and part number list for part number)

Is the SRC 1xxx 2201 or 2301?
v No: Continue with the next step.
v Yes: Perform Power PIP1 in the Migrated Expansion Tower Problem Analysis, Repair and Parts
manual on the V5R1 Supplemental Manuals web site to isolate the failing item. The failing item
may be one of the following parts:
– Any part on the expansion bus
– Power supply P01 (FC 5033, or FC 5034) - part 21H9364
– Power supply P01, P02 (FC 5035) - part 44H7779
This

Is the SRC 1xxx 2202 or 2302?
v No: Continue with the next step.
v Yes: Perform Power PIP2 in the Migrated Expansion Tower Problem Analysis, Repair and Parts
manual on the V5R1 Supplemental Manuals web site to isolate the failing item. The failing item
may be one of the following parts:
– Any part on the expansion bus
– Power supply P03, P04 - part 44H7777
This
ends the procedure.
6. Is the SRC 4414?
v No: Go to “Starting point for all problems” on page 2.
This ends the procedure.
v Yes: The failing item may be one of the following parts:
– Power supply P01, P02, or P03 (single line cord) (see Locations and addresses )
– Power supply P01, P02, or P03 (dual line cord) (see Locations and addresses )
– Power supply PP1, PP2 (see Type, model, and part number list for part number)
– AC input / battery charger A01 (see Type, model, and part number list for part number)
