3.9 IGNITION / DETECTION ELECTRODE REPLACEMENT / INSPECTION

Straight edge
1. Remove the fan.

2. Remove the ue manifold.
3. Remove the burner.
Refer to Section
3.7
4. When servicing the boiler inspect the condition of the
electrode and check the dimensions shown. If there is
damage to the electrode continue to follow steps below
for replacment.
5. Unplug the ignition lead from the electrode.
6. Remove the earth lead from the electrode.
7. Remove the 2 screws holding the electrode to the
combustion chamber.
8. Remove the electrode.
9. Fit the new electrode, using the new
gasket supplied. Check dimensions as
shown.

1. Pull o󰀨 the rubber pipe at the sump drain.
2. Turn the trap clockwise to disengage and lift to remove.
3. Clean and ll trap with water.
