2.5.5 Propeller:
The aircraft may be equipped with a 2 bladed or 3 bladed, ground-adjustable,
carbon-fibre, glass-fibre or wooden propeller and a glass-fibre spinner. If a Rotax
912ULS engine (100 hp) is installed in the C42, it may also be equipped with a
hydraulically or electrically adjustable propeller.
Information on certified propellers is to be found in the current technical data sheet or
in the pilot’s operating handbook. More details about the propellers and the
appropriate maintenance measures are to be found in the relevant propeller
documents or are available directly from COMCO IKARUS GmbH .
2.5.6 Exhaust system:
The exhaust system manufactured by Heggemann is made of stainless steel
components and is attached elastically to the engine by means of tension springs
and ball cup connections.
