Arm’s engraved marker dot coincides with hand wheel’s engraved
marker dot (red) or colorless .
1. Method of confirmation
(1) Let the sewing machine fall down.
(2) Turn the hand wheel by hand in forward direction until the thread
take-up lever rises shortly before the upper dead point. Push the
picker with the finger to the right (direction of the arrow). Then,
the roller enters to mesh with the thread trimmer cam groove .
(3) In this state, turn the hand wheel in forward and reverse directions.
Then, there will be a position where the hand wheel does not rotate.

2. Method of adjustment
(1) Let the sewing machine fall down.
(2) Loosen the first screw and the second screw of the thread trimming
cam setscrew in this order.
(3) Adjust hand wheel’s engraved marker dot to each specification.
(4) Pressing the picker to the right, let the thread trimming cam
mesh with the roller. Without turning the lower shaft, turn the thread
trimming cam only with the use of the finger in the direction
opposite to the revolving direction of the lower shaft. In the position
where the thread trimming cam does not rotate, push the thread
trimming cam against the roller and tighten the thread trimming
cam setscrew in the order of the second screw and the first screw.
(Cautions) If the cam collar is not moved, push the thread
trimming cam against the cam collar and tighten
the setscrew in the order of the second screw and the
first screw.
