NOTE
The first test that you will perform is the Open Check. However, before continuing, you must make
sure that all of the relays on the Model 707B switch matrix are open (for more information go to
Diagnostic manual content).
NOTE
For a 4-wire Kelvin system, you will have to simulate a 4-wire connection by temporarily attaching
triax cables to the 707B instrument (see next Table). For a 2-wire system, this triax connection is not
required.

NOTE
Note that the cards identified in Table 1 are for a typical system. The cards in your system may be
different. Therefore, the table identifies Card 2 as the first pin card (typically in slot 2) and Card 5 is
the first sense card (typically in slot 5)
8. Make sure that the Parameters drop-down menu is set to Cp-Gp (see next Figure)
NOTE
You must first run the Open Check before running the Short Check.
