METHOD FOR CHECKING WATER PUMP
Check for play of the pulley, oil leakage, water leakage, and
clogging of weep hole (drain hole) (A). If anything abnormal is
found, ask your Komatsu distributor for disassembly and repair
or replacement.
METHOD FOR CHECKING VIBRATION DAMPER
Check the misalignment between the damp hub and inertia
member.
Match marks (1) are stamped on the damp hub and inertia
member to indicates misalignment between them.
If this misalignment is 1.6 mm or more, or if dent (2) from the
damper metal surface is 3.2 mm or more, ask your Komatsu
distributor for parts replacement.
METHOD FOR CHECKING STARTING MOTOR
Ask your Komatsu distributor to have the starting motor checked.
If the engine is started frequently, have this inspection performed every 1000 hours.
