BAdjusting Toe-in
1. Park tractor on a firm, flat and level place.
2. Turn steering wheel so front wheels are in the straight
ahead position.
3. Lower the implement to the ground, lock the parking
brake, stop the engine and remove the key.
4. Measure distance between tire beads at front of tire,
hub height.
5. Measure distance between tire beads at rear of tire,
hub height.
6. Front distance should be 0 to 5 mm less than rear
distance. If not, adjust tie rod length.
C Adjusting procedure
1. Loosen the lock nut and turn the tie rod to adjust the
rod length until the proper toe-in measurement is
obtained.
2. Retighten the lock nut.
BChecking Power Steering Line
To avoid personal injury:
A Be sure to stop the engine and remove the key
before checking power steering line.
1. Check to see that all lines are tight and not damaged.
2. If hoses are found to be worn or damaged, replace or
repair them at once.
(A) Wheel - to - wheel distance at rear
(B) Wheel - to - wheel distance at front
(C) "FRONT"
(1) Lock nuts
(2) Tie rod
(1) Power steering pressure hoses
