3. Disconnect the system fan cable from the system board.
4. Replace the system fan.

5. Connect the system fan cable to the system board.
6. Complete the replacement. See “Completing the parts replacement” on page 58.
Replacing the heat sink
Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repairs before reading the Important Product
Information Guide.
1. Remove the monitor stand. See “Replacing the monitor stand” on page 20.
2. Remove the LCD panel. See “Removing the LCD panel” on page 22.
3. Depending on the computer model, refer to one of the following to replace the heat sink.
