Opening/closing in an emergency
Tilt/sliding sunroof
You can open or close the tilt/sliding sun-
roof manually in the case of power failure.
The tilt/sliding sunroof drive is located on
the left side (driver’s side) of the cargo
compartment behind the rear panel trim.
1 Edge protection
2 Rear panel trim
왘 Take the vehicle tool kit out from its
storage compartment (
컄 page 321).
왘 Open the tailgate.
왘 Remove edge protection 1 from door
pillar.
왘 Remove rear panel trim 2.
3 Key (vehicle tool kit)
4 Screwdriver (vehicle tool kit)
왘 Fit key 3 into hexagon nut of drive.
왘 Insert screwdriver 4 into the key as a
lever.
왘 Turn screwdriver 4 clockwise to:
ì•« slide sunroof closed
ì•« raise sunroof at the rear
왘 Turn screwdriver 4 counterclockwise
to:
ì•« slide sunroof open
ì•« lower sunroof at the rear

Do not disconnect electrical connec-
tors.
