Number of indoor units set on outdoor
main PCB not same as actual number of
indoor units

Change the setting on the PCB to be the
same as the actual number of indoor
units
Some indoor units are powered off
Power on all indoor units
After re-starting the ODUs and IDUs and
then waiting 2 minutes, an IDU displays
an E1 or FE error

guide. Resolving the indoor unit error
resolves the outdoor unit error
Two or more indoor units are assigned
the same address

Setting the indoor units’ addresses
uniquely resolves the error
Replace the outdoor main PCB
Notes:
1. The number of indoor units can be set on switches ENC3 and S12 on the outdoor main PCB.
2. Indoor unit error code E1 indicates a communication error between indoor and master outdoor unit. Indoor unit error code FE indicates that an indoor unit
has not been assigned an address.
3. Indoor unit addresses can be checked and manually assigned using indoor unit remote/wired controllers. Alternatively, indoor unit addresses can be
automatically assigned by the master outdoor unit.
