External Display Features
If you enter a word that the iTAP software does not recognize,
start over and enter the first few characters of the word you
want. Press
S
up or down until you see the letter
combination that matches the start of the word. Then press
keypad keys to add more letters to spell the word.
When word completion is activated (see page 37), your
phone may guess the rest of the word you are entering.

Press
S
right to accept the word followed by a space.

To enter a different word, press keys to enter the
remaining characters.
To add punctuation after a word, press

, then press
S
up
or down to locate the character you want.
TAP Mode
To enter text in tap mode, press a keypad key repeatedly to
cycle through the letters and number on the key. After one
second, the character is accepted and the cursor moves to
the next position. Repeat to enter each letter.
The first character of every sentence is capitalized.
When word completion is activated (see page 37), your
