Receiving a Call Alert Page
125
This feature allows your radio to work like a pager.
Even if other users are away from their radios, or if they are unable to hear their radios, you can send them an
individual call alert page. You can also verify if a radio is active on the system.
Depending on how your radio is programmed, if there is no answer after the maximum ring time or when you
press the PTT button for an Enhanced Private Call, the radio automatically sends a call alert page.
Note: This feature must be preprogrammed by a qualified radio technician.
Receiving a Call Alert Page
When you receive a Call Alert page, you hear four repeating alert tones and the LED blinks green. If Call Alert
Tone Auto Reset is enabled, you hear one alert tone and the LED blinks green. The call received icons blinks
and the display shows PAGE RECEIVED.
Press the PTT button to answer.
OR
Press any button to clear the Call Alert page.
