Automatic Registration Service (ARS)
Selecting or Changing the ARS Mode
The following methods are options on how to select
or change the ARS Mode. The result of all the
methods is the same. You can use the options
interchangeably depending on your preference and
the programmed functions.
Procedure:
[Mode Knob]
1. Rotate the Mode Knob to the desired channel.
In ARS Server Mode, the display shows the User
Login Indicator icon, the zone, and ARS server
channel.
OR
In ARS Non-Server Mode, the display shows the
User Login Indicator icon, the zone, and ARS
non-server channel.
OR
If the channel or mode selected is un-
programmed, the display shows
UNPROGRAMMED.
2. Press Sel to confirm the displayed zone and
channel.
OR
[Menu]
1. From the home screen, scroll left or right to Chan.
2. Press the Menu Select button directly below Chan.
The display shows the current channel name.
3. Scroll up or down to the required channel.
4. Press Sel to confirm the displayed channel.
In ARS Server Mode, the display shows the User
Login Indicator icon, the zone, and ARS server
channel.
OR
In ARS Non-Server Mode, the display shows the
User Login Indicator icon, the zone, and ARS non-
server channel.
OR
If the channel or mode selected is unprogrammed,
the display shows Unprogrammed.
Select other channel or mode.
