Cannot focus even by moving objective to upper limit.

Specimen surface is too far from stage
surface.
Locate closer to stage surface.
Cannot focus with 20x or 40x objective.
Causes Corrective Measures
Culture container is too thick.
Use a culture container of thickness
2-mm or less.
A focal deviation is high when switching over objectives.

Diopter adjustment has not been
performed.
