Useful shortcuts
Use shortcuts to quickly get the most from your device.
The corresponding sections of the user guide contain
further details of the functions.
Shortcuts when taking pictures or recording video
• To zoom in and out, press the joystick up and down.
• To send a picture you have just taken, press .
Edit text and lists
• To mark an item in a list, scroll to it, and press and
the joystick at the same time.
• To mark successive items in a list, press and hold ,
while you move the joystick up or down. To end the
selection, release the joystick then release .
• To copy and paste text: press and hold to select
letters and words. At the same time, move the joystick
to highlight the text. To copy the text to clipboard,
while still holding , select Copy. To insert the text
into a document, press and hold and select Paste.
Standby mode
• To switch between applications that are open, press
and hold , and select an application. If the memory
is low, the phone may close some applications.
The phone saves any unsaved data before closing an
application.
• To open Music player, press .
• To call your voice mailbox (network service), press and
hold .
• To change the profile, press power key on top of
the device, and select a profile.
• Press and hold to switch between General and
Silent profiles. If you have two phone lines, then this
action will switch between the two lines.
• To open the last dialed numbers list, press .
• To start a connection to the Services, press and hold
. See “Services”, p. 75.

Messaging
• To send a message when it is ready, press .
