The following discs can be used in your DVD recorder for playback and recording:
Playback and recording
DVD+RW (Digital Versatile Disc + rewritable)
DVD+R (Digital Versatile Disc + Recordable)
Playback only:
DVD Video (Digital Versatile Disc)
DVD-R (DVD-Recordable)
DVD-RW (DVD-Rewritable) These discs can only be played back if the recording was made in
video mode and the recording was finalised.
Audio CD (Compact Disc Digital Audio)
Super Audio CD (Only plays the CD layer of a hybrid SACD disc)
Video CD (Format 1.0, 1.1, 2.0)
Super Video CD
CD-R (CD-Recordable) Audio/MP3 content
CD-RW (CD-Rewritable) Audio/MP3 content
