Subscribing to XM

Before you can listen to any of XM’s more than 170 channels, you must rst activate your

XMp3 radio.

Make sure your XMp3 radio is properly installed and receiving the XM 1

signal in live mode so that you can hear the audio on Channel 1.

Make a note of your XM Radio ID. You can find it:2

• OnXMChannel0

 • Ontherearpackagelabel

 • Onthelabelinsideofthebatterycompartment

NOTE! The XM Radio ID does not use the letters I, O, S, or F.

• Byphone:call1-800-XM-RADIO(1-800-967-2346)

When your service is activated, your XMp3 radio will receive all 4

channels. This usually takes 10 to 15 minutes, but may take up to an

hour. Your XMp3 radio must remain on until activated.

If you have not yet activated your XMp3 and it is not receiving a signal, the radio may show a

Sales Demo on its display. The demo disappears when you activate the radio.
