PSDM
DESCRIPTION
The Power Signal Distribution Module (PSDM) is
an electrical component that acts as a central hub
for all 72 and 12 volt power.
OPERATION
Both 72 and 12 volt inputs come into the PSDM
and are dispersed through the fuses to the
appropriate electrical components.
REMOVAL
1. Turn the key and the MDS off.
2. Remove the upper and lower dash. (See
body section on removal of upper and lower
dash)
3. Remove all connectors and cables noting
connection and orientation for each wire.
4. Remove the 4 nuts that secure the PSDM to
the mounting plate.
5. With a small screwdriver lightly pry around
mounting studs working back and forth
between all studs.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the PSDM and install the 4 nuts
that secure the PSDM to the mounting
plate. Tighten mounting nuts to 72 in-lbs.
2. Connect all connectors and cables noting
connection and orientation for each wire.
Torque cables and wire connections
on front of PSDM +72, 72- and
B-studs to 72 in-lbs.
Torque MDS cable connections to
65 in-lbs.
3. Install the upper and lower dash.
