3. Select a contact and go to the Ringtone field.
4. Press the Edit softkey.
5. Use the up and down directional keys to browse the available ringtones loaded in the phone.
6. Optional: Press the Play softkey to sample a highlighted ringtone.
7. Highlight the ringtone you want to assign and press the Select softkey.
Change the Volume
Increase or decrease the volume of your ringtone and the audio during a call.
Procedure
» Press the volume keys to increase or decrease the audio.
Silence the Phone Ringer
The Do Not Ring (DNR) function silences the ringer for incoming calls. Enable to prevent an incoming call
from producing an audible ring from the phone.
The incoming window still opens, and the LED blinks.
Procedure
1. Select Home .
2. Go to Preferences > Do Not Ring.
3. Press the Enable softkey.
4. Select Home to exit Preferences and confirm your selection.
Enable AEC
Enable acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) to reduce or eliminate the sound of your own voice coming back
through your headset from the far side of the call.
Procedure
1. Select Home .
2. Go to Preferences > AEC RJ9 Headset.
3. Press the Enable softkey.
4. Select Home to exit Preferences and confirm your selection.
Disable AEC
Disable AEC to prevent your headset from reducing or eliminating the sound of your own voice coming
back through your headset from the far side of the call.
Note: If you disable AEC for RJ9 headsets, enabling Poly Acoustic Fence automatically enables AEC.
Procedure
1. Select Home .
2. Press the Disable softkey.
