3.2. Sleep Mode
The module is able to reduce its current consumption to an ultra-low value in the sleep mode. The
following section describes power saving procedures of EG915U series module.
3.2.1 UART Application Scenario
If the host communicates with module via UART interface, the following preconditions should be met to let
the module enter sleep mode.
Execute AT+QSCLK=1 to enable sleep mode.
Drive MAIN_DTR to high level.
The following figure shows the connection between the module and the host.

Driving MAIN_DTR low will wake up the module.
When EG915U series has a URC to report, the URC will trigger the behavior of MAIN_RI pin. See
Chapter 4.10.3 for details about MAIN_RI behavior.

TCP/UDP data from network normally.
Power Down Mode
In this mode, the VBAT power supply is constantly turned on and the software
stops working.
