Delay Watering
Rain Delay
The ESP-LXIVM controller’s Rain Delay feature lets you discontinue
irrigation for a few days after a period of heavy rain.
NOTE: If you have a rain sensor attached to the controller, it may
be unnecessary to manually program a Rain Delay. Consult the
rain sensor device documentation for more details.
Turn the controller dial to Delay Watering
At the Delay Watering screen, with Rain Delay selected, press
Next.
At the Rain Delay screen, press the Arrow key to choose the start-
ing date (from) and the end date (to) for the Rain Delay. Press the
+ and – keys to set the number of days (from 0 to 30 days). Press
the Clear key if you want to cancel the Rain Delay.
NOTE: The next irrigation date after the Rain Delay calculates
and shows automatically.
